The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has warned against the total lockdown of the economy as part of way of curbing the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.————-> CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele disclosed this at the meeting of the bank’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) in Abuja.—————-> He expressed concern over the rising debt level. ————-> The committee called on the government to redouble efforts at strengthening infrastructural efficiency and address the emerging security challenges in the country. —————-> The committee advised the government to explore the option of effective partnership with the private sector to improve funding sources necessary to address the huge infrastructural financing deficit.
